The most delicious and easiest homemade pasta sauce
- 1 can Italian diced tomatoes
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 dash of salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
In a frying pan, heat up the olive oil over medium heat. Dice onion and garlic and add to the hot oil. Cook for 4 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, add canned tomatoes and tomato paste. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over pasta!
Just note that this recipe makes enough for about 2 people to have on their pasta, so if you are going to double or triple the recipe, only add a can of tomatoes and another tbsp of tomato paste, don’t double the rest of the ingredients.
